Love Potions at Bam-Bou
Bam-Bou will be hosting a new experience for the month of February, in time for Valentine’s Day, for lovers and singletons alike with newly devised cocktails – Love Potions.
The powers of celebrated psychic counsellor, Susie Johns have been enlisted to guide our Bar Manager, Ladislav Piljar through the complexities of the love psyche (including healing a broken heart, the art of seduction; prompting proposals), and with their combined talents, they have come up with the ultimate blends for love struck Londoners.
Throughout the month of February, we will feature the Love Potions menus in both the restaurant and The Red Bar, including Heartbreak Healer, Cupid’s Kiss, Lovers’ Liquor and Ever After Elixir at £7 per cocktail. One-on-one readings with Susie Johns are also available from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on three consecutive Tuesdays – 4, 11, 18 February, which include a 15 minute reading and cocktail at £25 per person. On top of her work for ITV and various national newspapers, Susie has had a book “Sixth Sense” published about “unlocking the inner powers”.

Spiced with enticing ingredients including Velvet Falernum, Crème de Cacao Blanc and Kirsch Eau De Vie, the inspiration for each cocktail has been the four elements of the zodiac – earth, air, fire and water.
Bam-Bou’s Love Potions:
- Ever After Elixir– a magical mixture devised to lure proposals out of the most hardened altar dodgers (Bacardi superior, Cacao blanc, Velvet Falernum)
- Cupid's Kiss– turn any frog into a prince (Tapatio Blanco, Kummel, Orange liqueur)
- Lovers’ liquor– all roads lead to seduction “pur et dur” (Passoã, Aperol, Mandarine Napoléon)
- Rocket Fuel– for those who have lost the lust (Illy coffee, Kirsch eau de vie, cherry liqueur)
